I have about 8 hens nesting on eggs. If you have a place to keep some young ones when they hatch, you can have all you want! The only time i can catch them is the first couple of days after the hatch.
Minks, Minks, and more Minks. I have traped 12 over the winter that were eating ducks and fish. I had 5 moscovie ducks and they ate one a night. Right now I have either a mink, opossom, or racoon eating duck eggs. I can't seem to catch this one. You would be suprised how many diamond back water snakes I cath at night eating large fish on the bank.
By the way, I Had 4 Canada geese. This after noon, a wild one flew in and joined the party. The wild one is in the back of the photo.
