I have done the search, yet I still have a few question I hope you guys can help me with. I am currently having a 3/4 acre pond beind dug as I write this. The 2 species that I have decided that I would like are Yellow Perch for eating, and Hybrid Stripers for sport. The pond has an average depth of 12-15' with a 20' hole in the middle. If I go this route will I still need some bluegill for forage and LB for an extra predetor? I plan on using an aerator and supplement feed as well. I havent seen anything involving these 2 species and would be thankful for any stocking recommendations as well. Thanks for your time.

Some around have tried it with good luck so far (after 3 yrs.) If you decide you need smallies or LMbass you can always add them later if perch become overpopulated. But first I would add more Hy stripped bass rather loose control of predator recruitment by introducing a reproducing predator.

aaaah good news! Thanks Bill. So if I stock fatheads (and maybe shiners?) this fall, then around 400 2-4" perch, and 50 3-4" Stripers in the Spring, will this be about right? Or should I add or delete some of those numbers? Thanks again!
