If anyone noticed my vanishing act over the last week, I was taking an immersion course in Porturalian language and culture - what a wonderful heritage!!!
Actually, the pond had to take a backseat for the arrival of my son! 7lbs, 5oz, 19.5". Mom and baby are healthy and well. Plus, the little guy was born on my birthday!
