bc, did you say in another thread that your pond is stream fed? I think you mentioned one stream at the shallow end and two more "wet weather" streams.
I think that for any stream fed pond, seasonal or not, any kind of fresh water fish can get into your pond.
So your unknown fish could be a warmouth that just came down the stream from somewhere else.
