I am in North Central Louisiana, just south of Ruston, LA. The pond has various terrain ranging from one end that is up to 17 feet deep to the other end which is a shallow flat where a small creek feeds the pond.

Since I have caught 2 larger bass in the pond I need to only harvest the smaller bass i would assume. Will the stunting /overpopulation problem correct itself without stocking (can't afford that just yet....land note
