From Central Missouri - I have a two year old, two acre pond that is full of forage fish that I have been feeding Game-fish-chow(fatheads, shiners, and bluegill).
I am planning to stock native northern bass this spring, but I also plan to add about a dozen F1's to compare growth rates. Does anyone have any suggestions for me on a way to mark the fish so I can tell the species apart? If I clip a fin, will the mark be obvious several years later?
Is it possible to cage raise bass for several years?
