shorty that link is great never saw that thread. I have tried observation and the capillary method, for me the margin for error was so close we now just observe. There are plenty of "gray bass" not balck and white either way. If I was trying to select all femals and had a good pool to choice from I could do it by not sotcking the gray ones and going with what is obvious females from observation. We have praticed this when cleaning bass, fun game all should try the "name that sex".
