Shorty Lunker S Joined: Jul 2005 Posts: 4,598 Likes: 37 Raymond, NE	Just a thought here, if a pond had heavy mats of vegetation at the surface that shaded most of the shallow water, but was fairly open underneath vegetation, could this keep water temps cool enough for some northern species to do well in TX?
