What are the coppernoses' tolerance range in temperature? I was reading a post earlier on a different website that said these fish really aren't a whole different species but a subspecies of the common bluegill, the Florida bluegill. Also will these fish interbreed with, so to speak, 'Northern' bluegills? If so, does this create any kind of desirable F1 species as in the LMB?
Also I was reading about coppernose on dunnsfishfarm.com and they said coppernose reproduce at 90% female. Is this true?
