All kidding aside, CC recruitment can happen but it's a lot less likely than I worry about. I have often thought that bass heavy ponds like mine, having fewer overall small, hungry mouths (100's of LMB and 1000's of BG) than lakes like those Greg manages for large bass (10's of LMB and 10,000's of BG) are probably more likely spots for baby CC to make it through the gauntlet and live. Even if true, It's virtually unheard of to get serious CC recruitment numbers in a pond with any comb of BG & LMB.
