That's not surprising - the man took us in for the weekend, who wanted to tell him Cody crashed his shuttle.

BarO - Bruce remarked that had the water/air/BG been warmer, the fish would have been flopping around a lot more. I think the remarkable thing is how he coaxed so many cold, inactive BG into leaving their nice, safe pond bottoms for a little piece of nightcrawler.

Come to think of it, I don't believe ewest ever heard the story either.

Cody ignored Lusk's specific request to stay away from the shuttle.

Observations:

Bruce is good at catching fish. Maybe even great. However, he kept getting finned. Blood was flowing pretty freely. Gotta wonder about letting him stick a drill in my mouth without injuring himself.

Cody has a sense of humor. Who would have known?

Otto acted like gentleman. Even maybe has gotten housebroke. Not sure it will last.

Theo(slipstick) behaved himself even after flying. Theo has said on more than one occasion; Dang, I wiah Lusk could pick all of my friends.

Eric insisted that he had caught a bass before we got there. However, I don't recall there being any witnesses.

Lusk knows a little something about fish and a lot about food and different types of beer.

Doc Willis knows more about fish than Charlie Tuna.

Sunil is the real brain behind the changes of the future. An amazing business brain between his ears. He stayed sober enough (this time) to buy 3 new motels over the weekend.

Me? Like the old country and western song, "I just came for the beer". Caught about a dozen of Bobs feed trained bass. They really do resemble footballs. Next time I need to sneak into a place to fish, I'm going there.

Debbie Lusk is a great hostess. The whole Lusk tribe made it an event to remember.

It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.

Just now on the phone with the princess Debbie. Since she has never registered to post, she asked me to respond to you guys. Here's what she is whispering in my left ear on the phone (I'm in NC, she is holding down the fort at LL2): "To all the Pond Boss moderators...I want to say a great big 'thank you' for the flowers. I was at home yesterday when an FTD truck pulled up, the driver knocked on the door and handed off a beautiful arrangement. I blushed and headed to the buffet bar, where the Pond Boss carving sat. I put them in a bigger vase, arranged them and have been enjoying them since. As a wife, I feel extremely fortunate to have such an intelligent and passionate group of people on the same team with my husband. Everyone knows how passionate he is about what he does and to have people who share that same enthusiasm is rewarding and exciting at the same time. Thanks to you guys for stepping in and stepping up to share. Our home is open to you guys, always."

There's the message from my bride...now I'll add this much. Yes, we want everyone to come see us, but, please call first!

I'm laughing my tail off right now! \:D

Funny thing is, I don't think we ever told Lusk the story. \:\) \:\)

Well ya know there was this down in Texas. Is there a connection?

If pigs could fly bacon would be harder to come by and there would be a lot of damaged trees.

Bob, that also happens to be the number one rule for fishing our pond too. ;\)

"He stayed sober enough (this time) to buy 3 new motels over the weekend."

And just to think, my last name is not even "Patel."

Maybe observers were seeing the vapor trail from the Lusk shuttle before it crashed leaving one survivor near Whitesboro. The survivor and airship's captain is not giving interviews - he is too emabarrased. Someone said that they thought he was "drinking while driving". Another observer said the ship's lone survivor wore a Heddon Super Spook around his neck. The investigating officer said the captain had algae on his breath and was walking in an unusual manner.

There are rumors that a movement is under way in congress to fund the building of a new Lusk Spaceship Shuttle. The crazy algae eating captain has agreed to fly one more mission.
