By the way, I like to use limp Stren 6 lb test, and I compensate for the small diameter by replacing the line every trip.

Bruce, have you tried any of the GsP lines with small diameter and high break strength?
I have been using Power Pro (spectra) in 6# dia/20# test with good results but need a longer spinning rod than the 5 footer I've been using.
You don't have to change this line often...
