Man oh man! I have a very similar pond in the desire stages. Cannot wait to see full and pier complete. You and your documentation (web site) have really been an enjoyment. What direction does the pier face?

ahvatsa,
The pier faces south but has prime fishing spots in every direction through out the length of it. I just need one day of sunshine to finish the pier by adding some more cross bracing. I've made a really good start on the grow out pond now also. More pictures soon.
Thanks for your kind words and if you have it in the desire stage, go get 'er done! We aren't getting any younger and it takes me 4 or 5 years to get really super LMB fishing out of a new pond.
