Cary, I have a small 1.5cfm system probly a little undersized for my 3/4a pond. Its been on 24/7, with great results. I am wondering what might be a good choice for on/off times for this time of year. I did put trout in the pond, they seem to be fine without any areation anyway. Is this time of year a prob with D/O any parts of the day or night etc. I am in NC near Hickory.

Hey Joey,
I know our temps here in Burnsville were 27 this morning and 45 during the day. I would be pretty confident in saying that you are past any DO problems. With the water temps dropping so does the activity in the pond thereby reducing the consumption of oxygen.
If you feel that you still require some sort of aeration, move the diffuser to a more shallow region and operate it at night.
