Excellent point I forgot to bring up. I'm also a true believer in good genetic stock. I put in some 8 inch bluegills in my warmwater pond from a local lake that has produced bluegills up to just short of 12 inches. Anyway the bluegills were 10.5 to just short of 11 inches 2 years later. Of course in a new pond growth rates are phenomenal.

If pigs could fly bacon would be harder to come by and there would be a lot of damaged trees.
