I think it could easily be done with two ponds. One pond has both sexes and the other is the one that receives the females.

Sexing the bass would have to be during spawning season and with a capillary tube. If no eggs appear in the capillary tube the bass does not get planted.

If pigs could fly bacon would be harder to come by and there would be a lot of damaged trees.
