The same grower is producing hybrid crappie, cross between black and white. This fish has theoretical potential to out-grow white or black crappie, and also has theoretical limited reproductive success in the long run, although they will reproduce well the first year or two, as I understand. We stocked some hybrids this spring for the first time and will have to wait for fishing reports. Anyone interested, I can get my hands on whatever that farm produces as well.
