I would be extremely interested if they're black crappie. I'm still in the process of building my lake and need to establish a good forage base though. I read all the negatives about crappie, but there's no better tasting fish in my opinion. Plus, it's the females that have the weight. I see no downside here, I get population control, and another species to fish for.
