He was pretty sluggish and disoriented. He ended up in the middle of the pond frozen solid. A couple of days later it warmed up enough that the sun melted him through.

Long, Long Long ago when I was in school the thought was that frogs spent the Winter in the mud at the bottom of the pond. In more recent years, I read that someone drained & dug up the bottom of the pond in mid winter & found no frogs. So where & how do frogs survive the Winter. A condo in Orlando?
