The pond next door is a bit smaller than mine(less than 1/4acre)and 8 to 10" deep. He told me this weekend that he has put 80 LMB in the pond that he caught out of other ponds. I asked if he had put any BG in, and he said "ya, 7. 2 BG and 5 GSF". I think I know the answer to my question, but I want to hear ya'lls input anyways. Whats this going to do to his pond?
brand new, never before used 1/4 acre pond.

How long will take for the die off to happen?

Now, that might depend on their condition when stocked. If they are fat, it might take awhile. Also, it depends on the various sizes. Some of them might be big enough to eat the others.
I don't figure it will be real pretty.
BTW, you might ask him how many cows he would stock in a barren pasture. Or, how many coyotes could make a living on 7 rabbits.

Thats very true. I've tried to talk to him about it, but he doesn't want to listen. However I did get him to not put crappie in his pond.
