I caught this bass today. It's 7 inches long, was originally stocked March 16th at 2-3 inches. Wondering if anyone has any idea what could have happened to it's tail. Here's a close up of the tail. The real bloody area looked more like the part that I have circled in blue but before I could take the picture all the little blistery things burst leaving the bloody area. Any ideas?

Bacterial infection. Could have started out as an injury but not necessarily.
If pigs could fly bacon would be harder to come by and there would be a lot of damaged trees.
