I have been concerned about my muskrat(s) and have been working towards eliminating him (them). I identified some Creeping Primrose in my smaller older pond. It went out from the bank about 2 feet and covered maybe 30 lineal feet of bank area. This was early June.

I noticed a few weeks ago it was gradually disappearing and is now all but gone. Is the muskrat eating it? There is plenty of cattails for him so I am surprised at the disappearance of the Primrose. Maybe I should let the little feller stay?

The only other new creatures added to that pond are FHM and LMB. (that I put there).

Hey Asleep...
If ya haven't already been there, this thread has some good input about MR's. Sorry, though, nothing regarding their tastes for Primrose. Muskrat thread

(I recognize the signature. The handle is different, right? Also, I see that you're an HVAC guy. There has been some strong interest in geothermal H&C; got any experience? Can you tack on any wisdom to the tail of a good thread for us Geo-wannabe's? Geothermal thread )

yes Brettski I was touched by the "screen name" thread. I decided Ohio Scott was boring. I work a lot and tend to overcommit myself in most areas of my life - Asleep at the Wheel could be me if I am not careful. Plus their music is awesome. I will give you some insights re: Geothermal on the other thread.
