david u Lunker D Joined: Nov 2006 Posts: 359 denton & montague counties	My first attempt at messaging & pic posting.Shows my neighbor uprighting my 555 crawler after I slid it off my 29'dovetail trailer. I've noticed a lot of doityouselfer types in this forum and we can't forget it can be dangerous. I have 1500hrs on this machine & many trailer loadings, but here I was on a slight sidehill & it just slid off! ALWAYS wear a seatbelt i was lucky

My place is in NE Montague Co & I've been clearing trees for a small lake or a "real pretty park"(quote from dirt contractor since he hasn't submitted a bid yet). I did hook a chain to the ROPS to ease it on down.. I let the crawler set overnite so the oil went back to where it's suppose to be before trying to start it up. Also, I didn't have my seatbelt on & I jumped just before it hit..landed in the only 2 1/2 sq ft area within the ROPS that a part of me wasn't crushed. My mistakes didn't kill me that day..
