Does anyone know the forcast and out look for rain this winter 2006/2007 here in the south east? It sure is dismal rightnow, I don't know wheather to just ditch my pond effort or hope the rain fixes this thing!!

Yeh BP they are hesitantly calling for a cold wet winter for us. I sure hope so as our hatchery ponds are down three to four feet right now. Take into consideration that a lot of our growout ponds are only four to five foot deep anyway, and you will see what a struggle we are in right now. Three kills to date with one in a 9 acre CRAPPIE pond.  Between the weather and the federal government we are wedged between a dry rock and a hard place. At least Texas is finally seeing some action.
