Gator, I agree with the "show me".
Dave, it may pick up strength, according to the article, at least I hope so, in the months to come. Hopefully for those of us in the southeast, anyway.
I don't recall the last El Nino but do recall in 2001, it rained, or was cloudy, just about every single day, from November to March 2002, in TN. It was highly unusual. It was depressing, but right now, as dry as it has been it would be good. I can't remember if that was becaus of El Nino as I was not a pond owner and didn't care to much at that time.

I remember the flood of "93". We had record breaking rain here in Missouri. Levees broke and rivers flooded. Here in Ava we had so much rain I thought we should build the Ark. I have video of some of the streams and creeks here that were higher then I have ever seen then or now. That was the first El Nino I remember, since then I have heard we have had a few others but we haven't had the rain. We have been in a draught for the past 10 years, this year has been the worst.
