Nope, my pond's in Ohio. :p

Damone:

I found out you can search the member's directory by field with keywords. I got a (at least partial) list of Badger state pondowners by searching for "Wisconsin" in the "Location" field. The results won't link to a post with the URL button; sorry. But you can repeat the search starting here at the directory.

Damone; There are a few members from WI. Trouble is possibly some of them are like you, did not list the state in the "From:" feature; so using the search function may miss several of those who are from WI and post replys on this "board". I am not sure why a lot of members are so vague about their personal details.

Hi im Chad, and have two ponds in NE wisconsin. One is a .30 acre perch and minnow pond. The other is a acre, bass, perch, walleye, bluegill, crappie, and minnow pond. Each are 12 feet deep and no fish kill in the winter even with no aeration.

Chad - Do the yellow perch tend to overpopulate in the pond by themselves with minnows?. What species of minnows are you using in the perch only pond?

Good question I believe they are a blueish fat head minnow that come from lakes in minnesota. That I buy by the pound from RJ Hilger and sons, Antigo WI. I buy them small and medium sizes from one inch to about 4 inches long. As far as over populating Im not sure Its only been two breeding cycles and I am seeing 2 inch babies whereing stripes. I have hooked a small perch on a bass hook once trying to catch a bass in my other pond, and a twelve inch perch tried to swallow the injured fish right before my eyes. So im thinking they may cut down thier own population maybe if not I will. ha ha ha. Thanks for the question Chad.
