OK, from continualy readin Debs B-day thread, which has evolved inta a frog discussion, I'm iniciatin this thread. The Spring peepers have me itchin fer frog season, and bout all I know bout frogs is that they are YUMMY. Hope everyone adds their 2 cents. Cravin fer croakin, Bob-O

I've seen about a million tadpoles in my new pond and quite a few bigger frogs. I've only been frog gigging a handful of times, but am ready to get into it now that I've got my own pond. I know very little about it though. How long does it take for a tadpole to get to eating size?

The first year of my pond I also had a bunch of large tabpoles, but never did see or hear a frog after that. Figured the LMB got them

Shawn- If you have other ponds with big frogs in your area some will migrate to your pond so you may have biguns in no time.
