This summer I spent some time at a lakeside restaurant. They had some underwater lights just outside the dining room window. Saw some pretty nice bass lazily chowing on the insects that got trapped... I see advertisements for the solar powered bug-o-matic . Anybody have experience with this or other bug light fish feeders? Is solar power strong enough to be effective? Thanks, Ken

Ken, I bought a bug light fish feeder. This is the one with the fan that blows bugs against a wire mesh screen, not the one with the "whip" weed wacker thing.
I don't remember the brand right now, but I can check.
However, I haven't had it hooked up yet because I don't have power at my pond. I had a guy from work creating a solar charging unit, but it has not been finished yet.
Truly, I can't wait to try it, but I may just check out the one in the link you provided seeing as it may have the solar charger with it.
