Just a random question.....I did a search and couldn't find any info about it....
What impact does lighting have on a pond? For example, lights attached to a dock or even submerged in the water. I would think that it would attract certain types of forage fish, but would that in turn attract predator fish? If so, is there a way to take advantage of that? Just curious. I know that when I was a kid, my Grandfather would always bring a floating light with him when we crappie fished at night. I haven't crappie fished in years and am more interested in LM Bass fishing myself, but was wondering if it acts as a fish attractor of sorts. Thanks.

Light attracts vision oriented fish such as minnows and bluegill. That action attracts game fish. Lots of variables...water clarity, depth, fish population density.
Try it. If it works...
