if anyone was interested i've purchaced and used 4 of these traps and will reccomend them to ya'll.. i know turtles are an issue to some people.. you can trap and relocate or trap and dispose, .. it took about a week with the trap next to a laydown brushpile i made, for the tutles to take to it.. and i'd say i've had them for about 2 -3 mths and have taken out more than 20 turtles... all sizes, from small to the size of dinner plates,, all being red cheeked sliders..

thought you'd like to know..

In addition, for those who like more firepower when dealing with turtles, try www.gunbroker.com they are ebay with gunpowder. City or country...that generally dictates the method of removal. Turtles don't eat many "healthy" fish, but they are known disease carriers. However, I will provide a sanctuary for softshell turtles, had the stew a couple of times...tempted to try making it myself, some cookbooks say softshell stew has the taste of seven different kinds of meat...but it all tastes like chicken right ? ;\)
