i have a 4 1/2 acre lake now,and this morning we are starting to move dirt to make the pond larger.i have 3 questions:1)the pond will be allmost 3/4 acre larger in size.before we remove the dam should i add fish to the new pond are just remove the dam and let fish from larger pond just come into new section?(2)i was thinking about building creek channels in the new pond,my thought was to build new section about 4 1/2 feet deep with some channels dropping off too about 6 feet.is the 4 1/2 feet to shallow?i the larger pond i put pea gravel for fish to spawn on,in this section i was thinking about using sand.will fish use sand as much as gravel?
