I try to help people on here from time to time but it sure would help if we knew where you lived (expecially what part of the country). I look at the profiles and they are really sketchy sometimes. What's the problem? What are you afraid of? At least put down the state. It's not like you're putting down your social security number for God's sake!

If pigs could fly bacon would be harder to come by and there would be a lot of damaged trees.

Pottsy,

I did find out a USF& W agent is watching a taxidermy site I frequent! He contacted me out of the blue when I made some comments on whether anyone was doing their job and monitoring any illegal activities. Lot of selling and buying of animals on that site and some are not legal.

Depends on how much time a person spends on this durn WWW. As a computer tech I spend hours on end
visiting many different sites - downloading programs - utilities - drivers etc. The more a person hangs himself out there the more vunerable they become to all kinds of malicious chicanery (sp?) such as identity theft and credit card fraud. It also invites things like spam to merely post your e-mail address at these sites. (depending on your isp). With that said, most Techs, IT guys, geeks etc. that I know just make it a habit to limit what they put out in the way of private info. Of course there is also the case to be made for plain old privacy. Problem is...every e-mail sent goes thru an FBI/NSA super computer that looks for key words and certain types of activity. It then filters out what it wants and supposedly someone reviews it. Truth is that for the most part there aint enough spooks on the planet to review all the spooge going back and forth on the net today. Let alone make some kind of intelligent decisions as to what to do next with it. So they are concentrating their efforts in keeping an eye on our Arabian friends.I 'm all for this of course. This is what they should be doing anyway...instead of reading e-mails about carp and bluegills. A good hacker on the other hand can access most computers regardless of how hard you try to prevent it. DON'T STORE ANY INFO ON YOUR COMPUTER THAT YOU FEEL MUST BE KEPT SECURE!!!! IT ISN'T!

Cecil I have noticed you commenting on a few of my posts and me being in Wisconsin we are almost neighbors. I do not know how to list my personal info. I see it listed for other people.

Brian,
You can list your personal info if you click just below your name @ [rate member] (or on one of the icon above one of your posts) & after the window with your profile comes up click on [update profile] in the upper right of the window. Then choose [view update profile]
