Pond Boss Forums INTRO Questions & Observations are my bream dead?

I had my pond stocked about a month and a half ago or so. I've already posted and discussed this issue on here. It's about 3/4 of an acre and about 14 ft at the dam. I fertilized the following week. I started feeding about a week later. I placed my feeding ring at the damn and over toward the side, about 6-8 ft deep. I've yet to see a single coppernose in my pond to this day since stocked. No feeding or anything, is my feeding ring in the wrong place? I have not saw any fish near the bank or anything, wouldnt they be on the bank mostly? I wonder if they have died or something, but i havent saw any floating or anything, any comments are appreciated. Thanks

Keven, I had the same problem and solved it in a couple of ways. I found that the fish just weren't where I wanted to feed them. I experimented, figured out where fish would logically hang out and moved there. It worked. I also had a problem with my catfish. So, I bought some larger catfish that I figured had spent more time on feed. They started eating immediately and the others followed suit.

Give it time. I'm not a professional but I would bet money your coppernose are not dead. It just takes some time for them to get acclimated. I would cut back on the amount of feed your feeding and maybe do it more times during the day until they start feeding. If you haven't seen dead fish your probably fine. You may have said this but how many did you stock?
