Seems kind of obvious on a legacy bass lake to maybe test the genetics before deciding on what, if any, genetic supplementaion plan might be.
Who are the service providers you use for LMB genetic analysis?

The field of fish genetics is in its infancy in regard to the questions I think you are asking. There is a whole lot more that is unknow than is known. Most of the work I have seen is related to investigating a particular trait or result in a single (or limited) location. I have not heard of or seen anything like a whole LMB (or other species) genome mapping.
Most service providers I am aware of are affiliated with universities, and they work on peer reviewed studies.
