Wife is clamoring for a pond fountain for behind our home - I have electric but it is a pretty long haul to get it to the pond. Any thoughts on a solar? Any other things to consider?

Ask her how big of a fountain she wants, then start pricing. Make sure the price includes the power cord. If she really wants a fountain after she sees the prices, then that gives you a LOT of leeway when you want a toy or two. LOL
