I'm particularly interested in this fascinating work, as I spent many years in our logging industry, felling timber here in the western U.S., Utah, Idaho, Wyoming, Oregon, and Washington. Lots of stories have been saved relaying the history of "the old days" to us modern peoples. This "logging archaeological" approach can help to round out our understanding of the past.
