Noticed the crappie starting to spawn in my pond yesterday. Oddly enough the LMB also seemed to be starting to nest as I saw a pair creating a nest today. I caught a couple 3 & 4lbers and lost another good one. The bass seem to prefer the shallows where the watershield is fairly thick so I worked a weightless tube through them.
Been pleased to see the bass are improving in relative size though my recruitment seems low.

Temp went from 70s-80s down to a rainy 39 today - I suspect the spawning will suspend....
