I just got an air pump for my pond it came with three diffusers.the pump has two outlets should I tie the two together then put a manifold in to split it three ways ? Ps I would be running two aerators most of the time and would send some air to my brood pond when needed.

YEs, but if it has two outlets it must already have a manifold. You could replace the current manifold with a 3 way.

Thanks for the response yes it came with a manifold but only had two valves. I will add a third and plumb both pump outlets to it.

Can you post a photo of your pump showing the two outlets as well as a photo of your manifold?

Ok I will try to get some pictures the pump has an inlet and outlet on one side and an outlet on the other. I plan on connecting the two outlets together then using a three valve manifold to go to the ponds.
