I have been lurking on this forum for a year or so now and finally decided to jump on in with the rest of ya. In the last few years I have figured out that my retirement dream of buying some land and building my wife her (reasonable) dream house and my own private pond/lake is a goal that is well within reach. When I started to look around for info on building a body of water all the best knowledge and advice seemed to reside here.
To start this I ordered Raising Trophy Bass & Perfect Pond and signed up for a subscription to the magazine. It will be a few years yet before I even start looking for land for this project, and when that time comes I am sure I will have many questions, but it is never to soon to start learning.
I am really looking forward to this.
