Looking at adding some scouring-rush to my pond, very similar to the giant horsetail. Want to preplan any maintenance needed, while not using chemicals in the pond.

Any idea how deep it will grow into?

Is there an efficient way to control it within the pond? It's mud bottom so should pull readily but won't know until it's in. Thanks.
