Hello!

I'm looking for somewhere near South East Iowa (Iowa City/Davenport/Cedar Rapids Area) that would carry pure, 100% Bluegill instead of hybrids for when I get to stocking my pond this year. I have my reasons behind it. Please let me know if anyone has information regarding this!

Thanks

If you google 'fish hatchery near Tama, IA' you'll find one that carries non hybrid BG...

I'd check with Herman Brothers Pond Management. They aren't to far from you.

Check out Beemer's fish farm in south west Iowa. They said they would ship Fed X in oxygenated bags anywhere.

There are two not far from you. Blyzo fish farm is in SE Iowa and Harrison fishery is in NE Missouri. I have used both and been satisfied. Both have BG (I also prefer straight BG) and Blyzo has free delivery with orders over a certain amount. They both have informative web sites.

NEMO bait and fishery in Perry MO has been good to work with for me.

12 yr old pond, 1 ac, 15' deep.
RES, YP, GS, FHM (no longer), HBG (decreasing), SMB, and HSB (only two have been seen in 5 yrs)
I think that's about all I should put in my little pond.
