I can't make out any FA in your picture. Are you referring to the blade type vegetation? That looks like some type of reed or shore grass to me. FA is a snotty, slimy bright green mass that carpets the pond bottom as well as other vegetation, it will form mats that will eventually float, they are often darker green by then.

see that fuzzy green stuff that is on the reeds? that is what i was referring to...
7 Acre +/- pond. Stocked with CNBG, RESF, GS, TFS, FHM, in March - June of 2008, Stocked with 200 3" F1 Tiger Bass in March of 2010... Additional stockings of CNBG, Tilapia, FHM in May of 2011.April of 2012 and May of 2013.
