I have a new 4 acre pond just over a year old. My goal is to grow big LMB. I know I need the BG for forage and they are growing fast and doing well and I would never do anything to interfere with my goal. I assume at some point it will be ok for us to catch some of the larger BG and eat them. I have never read when that was ok to do. What do the experts say? Thanks

Don't catch and eat your original stockers. Catch and eat their offspring and later ones.
