Last year I had issues with batteries going dead. I'd like to go rechargeable. I'd go solar but that would make the two units more attractive to thieves.
Here's my thought, I buy 4 Moultrie rechargeable batteries. Each Time I fill the feeders I'd change the batteries, a two week schedule.
Questions:
With two 7 second bursts per day, will they last two weeks?
If I series them together to make 12 volts should I be able to charge them with a car charger?
Same question keeping them hot over the winter.
