Just had to let Ya'll know. Just caught our new 2 acre lake record cnbg. I stocked them at only one inch long from Overton's fishery on Feb.20th of this year and have been feeding them Cargill pellets from day one. The fish was 7 1/2 inch long and weighed 6.1 ounce on my new postal scale!!! That's less than eight months. We have caught several over 7 inches already and weighing over 5 ounces. I will stock lmb next spring. If I am figuring relative weight that fish was about %117. Me very happy!

Yes, congrats. It is a good feeling when those first stocked fish get some size and are growing like you want them to.

Congrats James it helps to have great fish to start with from Overtons.Some of my bucket stocked LMB offspring like to eat Cargill pellets....
