I started an aeration system of four 9" diffuser dics in my lake 3 weeks ago. Yesterday, (Sunday) me and my daughter went for a canoe ride. We started out from our boat dock and right off I noticed a white colored object on the bottom of the lake in about 4 feet of water. We used a dip net to scoop this white object up and found it to be a white ceramic coffee cup. Hmmmm! Never seen this cup there before, because we are all over this area with our boats and had never noticed it. Please take note that there is about 2-4 feet of muck in this area which is about 30 feet from shore. My daughter scooped it up and had to scrape the muck out of it. You could tell that it had been in the water a long time. It wasn't any of our own personal coffee cups so it must have been there a long time buried in the muck. Could the aeration system be working with the aerobic bacteria already that it unearthed or unmucked the coffe cup in 3 weeks time? Is this possible so soon?

Can't answer your question directly Bob, but it looks like the treasure you're finding is giving you a return on your investment. Good luck with the muck removal and treasure hunting.
