Thank you gentlemen for the birthday wishes,I'm still lurking. Had a great Bday, went to see Bob Seger and the Silver bullet band, great show. Not doing much with the pond, the otters come in the winter and clean out most of the fish.  The floating island is still afloat.  I wish you all a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!

If the electric fence has a strong enough fence charger, snow doesn't affect them.......

edit: I see you said 'great show.' Sunil, Bob Seger and his band were fantastic, the opening act was the J. Geils band [centerfold, love stinks] they were great but you might want to bring some cotton, they crank the volume up full.

If the electric fence has a strong enough fence charger, snow doesn't affect them....... Unfortunately we get between 200 & 300 inches of snow each winter, and the Otters practice body surfing down to the pond.
