I curently areate with a gast 1/3 hp gast compressor with 2 diffusers. The pond is a halh acre in size and all is well. The pond is spring feed, 16 ' deep, and 2 years old. I have alot of water that I could divert into the pond for additional areation due to springs and run off. I was wondering if that would be a good idea and if I do it what would be the best way to get the most oxegen and less silt due to runoff? I've got aproximently a 150 yard run

Unless your diffusers are very very low capacity you have plenty of aeration for a 1/2 acre pond,I would leave well enough alone and work with the current water within the pond and leave the diverted out.

Thankyou, I was just wondering, If I am not wrong by saying this , theres probly alot more that could go wrong introduceing more water due to nutrients,minerals chemicals,ect...?
