I had about a dozen red ear turtles in my pond. Some were large adults, some were small. Each time I fed the fish, the turtles joined in for a little Aqua Max. Two or three weeks ago, they all vanished at the same time.

Any ideas on what happened to them?

Lead poisoning??
Seroiusly, welcome to the forum.
Don't think they died at the same time. Either found another pond or are staying out of sight because of a predator.

Just do it...

I agree. They come and go. While feeding one day last month I counted 21 turtles but the only ones I can identify are snappers. Two weeks later they were all gone except 2 small ones. They're still here along with one big snapper. I'll probably take a rifle and let the air out of him.

sometimes I have as many as 8 of those red-eared sliders and sometime none... I figure like rmedgar that they move on periodically to find greener pastures.
