As I have stated in recent posts I am growing bass in a RAS. I was planning to keep them for three years before selling. But I have been approached about selling a few two year olds. So my question to the experts is what would be a fare price to ask for pellet trained LMB in the14-16" range. They are all in the 140% range on weight.

If I were looking to buy from you, I'd see what is available on the market. It would appear that past 12", they get harder to source, but they're running $12 and up. Take a look at Overton's price list, they sell 1-2lb LMB and at that point, they switch to $/lb instead of $/inch.

Very hard to source. $10-$12/lb seems like the going rate. All about supply and demand.

Check out Carolina Hatchery, they sell twelve inch and above for 7-8 bucks a pound. Fish in the eastern states appear to be cheaper then the central states. Good luck.

Two ponds, 13 and 15 acres on the Mattaponi River.

Price goes up once the larger they get. I've heard of 5#+ fish going for $25/lb. Remember, larger fish are "set in their ways" of feeding, and used to the environment they have lived in. They may not do very well in another environment. I believe Bob Lusk stocked advanced sized LMB in a BOW and they lost weight.

Especially if they are facing entrenched predators/competition.
